Drop Shadow help

Post by Supernova »

Hey guys. Maybe some one can point me in the right direction? I downloaded the drop shadow dll file and loaded it into : (C)>Program Files (86)> Resolume Arena 5.0.0> plugins> vfx

I see drop shadow in my effects tab now. But it doesn't seem to be doing anything when I load it onto a clip.

Did I put it into the wrong location?

if you see it in the effects list, then it is loaded and ready to use.

if you have the layer blend at default: ADD at 50% you won't see the black shadow.

No I have the layer at 100%, but I see no affects of the effect. Any other ideas?

Is the drop shadow clip scaled smaller than your actual output + do you have some sort of background so that you are surly able to see the shadow?

Have you made sure your clip has transparency?
