I'll start by saying I'm fairly new to Resolume, but getting pretty serious about it.
That being said, I recently bought a Novation LaunchControl XL assuming that it would map with Resolume with no issues. Well, I can't seem to get it to map at all. It appears in the preferences menu under MIDI, so Resolume sees it no problem, but when I try to map the controller, nothing happens.
I saw a thread where someone had the smaller model, and it worked just fine. I'm wondering how they got the smaller model to work just fine, but I can't seem to get the XL version to work at all...
I noticed that in the controller's manual, it says that the controller is "class compliant" and that no drivers are necessary. I wonder if that has something to do with why it won't work? I'm really not sure what my issue is here, was hoping someone could lend me some advice?

The Launch Control XL works fine, it's a standard midi controller like all others.
It would be great if you could list the exact steps you are taking, starting with connecting the controller to your computer, all the way through mapping it, up to the point where you think it should work. That way we can follow along and see where it may be going wrong for you.
How exactly are you trying to map it? Have you enabled it for Midi input in the preferences?when I try to map the controller, nothing happens.
