I've noticed on the new 15 inch 2015 macbook pro. On Arena 5.0 and 5.1
When ever I plug in or unplug a USB drive or controller. Arena hangs up for a few seconds and gets back to normal. I cant move the mouse or anything. The clip thats playing also freezes. Even if arena is minimized and im on the desktop it hangs up the moment I eject the USB device.
Its happened with USB 2.0 and 3.0 devices.
I havent noticed any freezes or hangs with Arena closed. Its always happened with a display plugged in while im running arena mid way though a show. So its pretty scary.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for letting us know. We'll try to recreate this and see if there's anything we can do about it.

Re: Plugging and Unplugging in USB causing arena to hang.
Hey Joris,
I tried recreating this on 4.2 and it works fine. No freezes.
Im using the same Macbook pro 15 inch 2015 model with El Capitan.
It seems the be just 5.0 and 5.1 thats causing this to happen.
Thanks.

I've been getting this on windows too. It hasn't affected playback at all, the UI just hangs and sometimes the preview stutters.
Cant minimize for a few seconds after the Windows "what to do with this drive" pops up. Tried various drivers for the Titan X and it still happens (353.62 - 359.00)

It seems like ScreenSetup is trying to load the USB and plugging it in, according to the log
