German Laptop keyboard zoom out

I have a german Laptop and the usermanual of Resolume 5 says, that to zoom in in the advanced screen is the shortcut "Ctrl="
But if I use Ctrl= nothing happens. Ctrl- works for zoom out.
Any ideas?

CTRL + SHIFT + = works for me. I think many applications do it this way to keep zoom in and zoom out to the "+" and "-" symbols.
