there are some hardware devices to do that, but they are very expensive (>3000Eur). If you need links tell me.

I tried to build one myself, but it can't be done in pure analog (timing problems). You would have to digitize the VGA/video signal and then read out the right lines for each monitor, from an double buffered video ram.

If i stumble cross a cheaper solution i will post it here, but it is unlikely.

you mean to have half on one, the other half on the other?? or just doubling it on both?

if you want the same image on both, you can get a video amp/spliter from jaycar, dick smiths, or radioshack for around $40

the name of the device what you are looking for -as I understand from your note- is video matrix switcher

it works like this

you have lets say 4 video inputs and 4 video outputs
you can route lets say video input 1 will go to output 1 and 4
video in 2 will go to out 2 and video 3 in will go to out 3

or how as you wish...

it is very easy to use
there are total of 8 buttons 4 for in and 4 for our
just select the in channel to go where...

is it what u want?

actualy, you could get an old PCI 3D card, or a new PCIE if your motherboard supports it, and out put the different layers from resolume to different projectors

Thanks Des!!

I read about the device, but I was wondering if it is possible to project a powerpoint presentation and be able to see my footnote and previous , present and next slide on my laptop display and on the project view show only the present slide?

Thnks in advance.
