Im trying to be able to...push 1 midi button on my abelton pad and have one effect bypassed while another turned on. Any idea how to do this?
I don't get the difference between mapping in application or composition so I've just been sticking to mapping in the midi composition setting.
Thank you in advance!

map the bypass buttons to the same midi note, then pre set one of them with the mouse to bypassed and one to not bypassed.

Just go to Edit Application/Composition MIDI Map, select the MIDI note you want to remove and hit delete on your keyboard or choose another MIDI note to replace the one you want to remove.

You can also go into the mapping mode and right click on the item you wish to clear and select "Clear Shortcut" to remove mapping for that particular item.
