Adobe Animate CC

Post by vjandrea »

Hello,
does anyone use Adobe Animate CC to create .swf clips?
Since Adobe Flash Professional is not available anymore in the CC suite, i have to use Animate, but i can't get it to work :| Unfortunately the tutorial in the docs is a bit outdated.
Thanks for any help or advice!

What exactly seem to be your problem?

When i edit the .fla's in the example media folder they work well, but if i try to create a new clip from scratch there's something that i miss and the clips won't play in Arena, while in the Animate preview or in a browser they work correctly.
I guess it has to do with the publish settings, but replicating what i found in the example .fla's is apparently not enough. Do you have maybe a checklist of publish settings that i may verify?

thanks

My flash files are usually simple animated text.
I did try a simple flash export and it worked fine on Arena. But to avoid such problems I usually load all my swf files on Vegas and export them all as mov files. This is fine if your flash file doesn´t have any interactivity or coding.
