Christie Roadster 16K+ shutter control

Hello Guys!

I have one interesting question for you all.

In my theatre performance I use the Subj projector and I need to fast shutter feedback in some scenes.
I use Resolume Arena 5 like a server. BUT! When I tried to control shutter by the artnet from resolume, I couldn't do that.

So the question iiiiiis... How Can I do that?

I'm sure there are other ways but here is how I would do it:

• - setup Artnet in your projector (either 10 or 64-channel mode) as per pp3.48-3.50 in the manual (note: the Shutter channel is the base channel so 1 by default)
  - create a Lumiverse in Resolume Arena and assign it to an Artnet Output that matches your Christie Projector Subnet and Universe
  - create a 1x1xL fixture (so 1 channel) and call it [Christie Shutter] for instance
  - add the fixture to your Lumiverse and set it to Start Channel 1
  - create a new layer, name it [Shutter Control] and turn the opacity off (note: I would locate that layer at the bottom of my comp)
  - add one [Solid Color] clip full screen and turn the [Saturation] to 0
  - size your [Christie Shutter] fixture to full screen, select the [Shutter Control] layer as [Input Source] and uncheck [Input Opacity]
  - now you can control your projector shutter by adjusting the [Brightness] of your [Solid Color] clip to get the following values:
  
  • - Open: 0 – 64 DMX value
    - No Action: 65 – 192 DMX value
    - Closed:193 – 255 DMX value
  - which means White (255) is Closed Shutter and Black (0) is Open Shutter

If you have more than one projector and you want to control them simultaneously, you would just add [Christie Shutter] fixtures to your lumiverse and offset the Start Channel to match the other projectors but if you want to control other projectors independently, you'll have to use another layer (or several layers) and repeat the process listed above.
