suggestions on setting up a BCR2000

I am many steps behind but I was wondering if someone could help me set up resolume with BCR2000, I am a filmmaker looking to translate in a short amount of time some abstract material for a live set up. I have never worked with controlers nor resolume before. Could really do with some help.
