vertical aspect ratio for output

Post by vj.emtv »

Hi all,

first of all, thanks a lot to the developers who are working on this great piece of software named Resolume !!

I've got a gig coming where I'll have to output my resolume mix to a screen with a vertical aspect ratio (something like 1:3 or 4:9). I started testing what it would look like using the "window" mode on secondary output, and stretching its top and bottom borders to have it display as close as possible to what I want.

The thing is, I'm now wondering what video size I should use. Let me explain : I had standardized the footage i gathered so far to a 320x240 px. Currently testing different new sizes to find the one that'll make me keep correct proportions when vetically stretching the window output as I just told you.

If anyone has ever used such vertical output mode, please let me know how you managed it.

Thanks in advance.

em
