Polygon slices in Virtual Output glitching

Post by deepstrut »

Im using a virtual output to combine multiple slices into one slice to be used on two different displays.

im having intermittent glitching with only the polygon slices in a virtual output. They are rendering just fine in the output monitor for the virtual screen, but when i source a slice to both of the physical screens from that virtual output none of the polygon layers appear (or polygon masks for that matter), only the square slices appear.

there is a way, however to make them appear, and it seems to happen at random by simply changing un-related setting of any slice in the output.. i just pick a random slice anywhere, and perform random action (unrelated to the polygons that are missing) such as re-sizing, bypassing, or moving and then undo the action and repeat this until the polygon slices magically re-appear.
down side is they will also disappear at random as well if i add a slice or screen to the output.. every time i close resolume and re-open the polygon slices have disappeared again. and random actions/undos in the output will bring them back.
i ran into this during showtime on Saturday and didnt have start from scratch and re-map everything. although i love the idea of the virtual output, I will not be using them again until i know for sure this wont happen.
i can try and record a video at home of this happening if needed.

Virtual Screens were added as a sort of bonus feature. We're not quite sure what the exact use cases are for them yet. So it's entirely possible there is a combination of factors that we haven't tested against and our beta testers haven't found yet.

It would be great if you could contact us directly with your advanced output setup file, so we can see what you're doing exactly.
