I currently have a Lifebook P-5010. Obviously this is a bit older / slower, but both machines are pretty much the same.
Don't use this laptop for live work any more, although worked quite well with version 1 and a 3rd party VGA -> PAL converter (AVerKey3 - also pretty old)
The P5010 doesn't come with SVIDEO out, and I only recently purchased the 3.5mm to S-VIDEO adaptor so can't give you any info as to how good the video out is!!
Overall, this is an awesome little machine - makes all the huge 'knee breaking laptops?' that are around these days look like SH$#@!

according to it is datasheet, it might be slow for a live gig. the machine it self, looks like, it is designed for making office works, have some fun -but not that serious- on the road. but as i am mentioned above, it is a feeling, i had from its datasheet. you suppose to check it, under the same conditions that where you are planning to use the system...
