newbie projection project

Heya! I got trusted to do some projections for our party, so we have Dj playing and we wanted something a bit more visual, so I found Arena 5 software quite easy to use. I have made some visuals, and added the to Audio FFT, also as I have made them to play Auto Pilot as I want them just going on the loop all night while DJs are playing music.

But I am very confused about the setup ) more specifically what would I need for the set up. At the moment I am just using composition Audio, but I will need the live audio. Could anyone explain to me what cables do I need to get audio from DJ into my laptop so I can still use Audio to reflect the visuals.

First, you will need a mono feed (stereo feed is OK but not necessary) from the DJ into your computer (line in or capture device).

Second, go to Preferences>Audio>External Audio FFT Input and select the source which will allow you to use the External Audio FFT input to animate any parameter to the music
