Audio Analysis

I've been killing my brain trying to make the audio analysis work...
I am using de demo version of resolume 2.1.
Can anybody help me and explain how can I make it work?

ps-I'm just a beginner at this

hi
watch the postings below, there are some hints to make it better. I have the same problem and somebody told me to check the settings in the controlpannel for audio and media. make sure that the right line for record is switched on, otherwise it could be that resolume just gets a whirring as a signal. anyway it didn't really work in my case. the effects for instance work well and you can tell that there is a similarity to the music but the scratching of the video is a desaster...

Hello!
First I would like to thank you for your reply and attention!

Maybe I explained myself wrong but what I mean is that i don't know how to send a signal to resolume, or by other words, how do I make the sound get to it? Do I have to plug a microphone and capture the sound from the speakers?
I'm a REAL beginner at this, lol!
