Akai apc40 MkII transport problem

Post by Digitrevx »

Picked up a new Apc40 MkII and really liking it!

The main problem is I can't get the transport to work with Resolume.
I've tried a few modes under the midi preferences. I figure Generic mode would be ok. Selected clock input (start/Stop). Left Midi Middle C set to legacy.

Then I double tap the play button on the Apc40 and nothing. No BPM change, and the selected clip with BPM sync is stuck with the blue processing bar.

Been digging in the apc's very short manual with no help. Googling for solutions and can't find anything useful.

I figure there's gota be others using the apc40 and come across this! It seems like a good controller..

Edit: Lol I feel dumb. Based on midi monitor and what I'm reading the apc doesn't have a doesn't do it's own clock. Kinda odd since it had a tempo and tap button. I guess I gota keep using my old mpc if I want midi clock on a controller..
