Nothing new i guess but here it is ... my brand new wish
I'd like to have implemented support for recording processed video + audio coming from the input. I guess it would turn Resolume into a much more proper tool for the video artist, not only for the vj. It's a bit frustrating playing video to some music, get results and loose them after exiting the program. Of course you can sync the recorded processed video and audio in some video editing program but it's really a bit of a pain in the you know what. THX

Definitely
I think this would put resolume head and shoulders above any other PC program. This would extend the scope of resolume beyond the club for more flexible use in art based performance and installation, esp if resolume is used in conjunction a midi sequencer, chaos, audio analysis, live cameras and instant record and playback etc. I want it...
It's the one (and only) feature I liked about arkaos.

I'm not talking about simple audio playback of a clip, i'd just love to have the possibility to record the video output along with the audio input to which some video params are synced via audio analysis. This would give us the opportunity to use resolume as a creative tool for art based productions.

You can do that by recording direct to a camcorder with an a/v in if you have a 3 phono to minijack type connection. By using relavent interconnectors adapters and splitters etc (get to Maplin or equivalent), split the audio signal, send it to res via the soundcard as well as to the audio in phonos of the camcorder.
That way the exact same audio signal is being sent to both res and the camera simmultaneously. No synching up in an editor needed because you are recording and analysing the same audio signal.
Obviously connect your video out from your videocard to the camera as well and Bob's-your-cards-right, you can record your set sound and all.
Thinkin on my feet here, you could also take the output from your soundcard if your audio is coming from your pc (eg via mp3) to your camcorder.
Like I said this requires a few adapters and interconnects and certain equipment but it can be done (I'm doing it to record my showreel).
You could just as easy record it to a vhs recorder with the same method and capture it back, with a slight loss of quality of course.
make sense?
