Project I'm working on. Brand new to Resolume

Post by Brianbeit »

I work for an NFL team and we do basic LED Wall stuff. Usually has always been 16:9 aspect stuff pushing out IMAG but my boss asked me to work on something for some extra eye candy for some of our high level events.

What I'm trying to do is send one single 1920x1080 video source to many different sized and aspected LED Walls with as few processors as possible because I have to be able to push out content from the switcher.

So (hypothetically) stage left/stage right would have a wall that's 7 panels high by 1 wide, upstage would have a couple different sizes, 3Wx1H, 2Wx2H, 3Wx1H, 4Hx1W and so on and so on. My boss wants to have the ability to add/subtract LED Walls/panels as he pleases but still be able to control them all with one video source.

Basically I just want to know if Resolume has the ability to do this.
- (1) 1920x1080 source feeding into Resolume,
- The ability to crop and shift that source to fit the different aspects of the walls (LED Mapping?),
- and then feeding that content to multiple different processors and walls.

We have NovaproHD and MCTRL 300 processors and use Absen A7 Panels.

Thank you all. Any kind of answers/comments/suggestions would be much appreciated.

You can easily do that. Altho i'm surprised at that level you didn't go to hippo or D3. As you also have the hardware reliability and support. Resolume can easily do this, i would use a layer with a layer router for each surface. That allows you to add or remove surfaces as needed.

Its even easier if you program everything from a light board and set the presets into an exec window. The cheapo way to recall specific looks would be bomes.
