Output Remapping

Post by McGrey »

Hello,
I'm just thinking if there's a way to control Output and Input Slices position via external triggers prefferably artnet. The idea is projecting an image into a moving surface (Horizontally) while tracking the input and output slice with respect to the projection surface position.
I also considered dedicating a layer just for masking (PNG with Alpha) and just adjust the Layer/Clip positions via Artnet/DMX . But that would be a lot of Layers as I need to do it on atleast 8 moving surfaces.

Thanks!

You could do that using the Keystone effect.
In this video I have the parameters mapped to one dashboard knob, but you get the idea.

If you have 8 layers you need to map, this would probably best be programmed using OSC 2D graphs with X/Y coordinates using something like TouchOSC on an iPad.
