4k composition, 2 layers, no FX
Layer 1 has a Resolume DXV3 pack, each clip loads instantly
Layer 2 has a 1 frame H264 encoded MP4. Sometimes loading the clip takes up to half a second with no transition. I have attached the MP4

Re: Beta3 MP4 playback
Try setting the clip to paused mode, and the playhead to the clip's beginning, this way it loads almost instantly for me.
How does it behave on your machine this way?
Interesting thing that resolume sees the audio track's length as 41ms, and the video track as 3 frames@30 fps which would be 100ms.

Re: Beta3 MP4 playback
It seems taking the audio out fixed the issue. Not sure how the audio length was mismatched.
Seems like Media Encoder is doing weird things to silent audio tracks.
Works fine if I export again without audio, but anytime I leave audio on in AME, bumps 1 frame to .85s instead of .33s.
If I export to Quicktime H264 with audio in After Effects, everything is fine (except can't export 4k in QT H264)
