I'm developping a AV show with a DJ friend. He's djing on serato only with midi controllers and, thru ethernet cable, i get his inputs to my computer and use them to trigger/tweak clips/visuals etc
on serato he uses a knob to select a sound in a rollout list. on my side i use his knob input to select a clip on one of my layer (i use the hidden ">" from the midi mapping). he uses 8 knobs, so i have 8 layers with clips.
when he plays, he uses a button to switch on and off the sounds and i mapped his buttons to the bypass buttons of each layer in resolume.
my actual issue is to re cue clips at their beginning when he switchs on his sounds. it works with the "cue points" of the clip, but only when the clip is selected. any idea for any of my clips on any of my layer, knowing that i can't trigger directly a clip but only a layer?
