Midi mapping of different clips parameters without stopping

Hello,
if I want midi map the same parameter of different clips, I have to exit from mapping to select next clip.
Is there a way to stay in mapping and change clip?

This is one of those things that we've yet to find an elegant solution for. It also sucks when assigning shortcuts for different layers.
