Fading in and out

Hi guys,
I love the new Resolume Arena 6! But, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make clips/effects fade in and out like they do in Resolume 5 (there's no more little line that goes up as it fades in on the layer line; I checked and my Resolume 5 still does it just fine). I've tried everything, including "fade" options in both Layer and Clip menus. Any ideas?

Are you referring to the layer transition?

When I set a clip to end on a black screen/or off, rather than repeat. the transitions will not fade out, it's a hard cut.
Is this what you're referring to, and is this normal behavior?

there's no more little line that goes up as it fades in on the layer line;

in View menu: check Show layer transition controls.

OMG! View Menu: "Show Transition Controls" was the answer! Thank you! I'm fading away now...
