Navigations with midi or keyboard
Navigations with midi or keyboard
Can i navigate throw the deck & chose clips only with keyboard or midi shortcuts?
Re: Navigations with midi or keyboard
Yes you can !
Use the arrowkeys to navigate trough your clips and hit enter to launch them.
You can also asign specific clips or parameter to keys or midi shortcuts.
More info about this in the manual :

I also have the same issue, but could't figure it out by looking at the manual how to freely navigate in the clips on a deck (via midi) and just trigger the clip I want...5AMvisual wrote:Yes you can !

In Midi mapping I can't specifically see in the graphic user interface how to assign a key that could be used as a "next clip" (like moving the cursor in the keyboard) but without lunching it immediately to the the layer!
I want to be able to first, select the clip (by navigating thought the clips thumbs) and then (once selected) trigger that clip to the layer!
In Res5 i'v used Bome's (to have colour feedback and other functionalities) to simulate that king of navigability (by simulating keyboard shortcuts) that res5 recognized as such, but now, with res6 and with the amazing support for my Akay APC40Mk2 I don't want to use Bome's anymore... how can I to this?

Go to view menu and then show layer transition controls, they are hidden by default.
You will now see the previous/next clip arrows for each layer appear to the left of your first column.

I think I was looking for ages to find this thread!5AMvisual wrote: Sat Jan 13, 2018 17:52 Use the arrowkeys to navigate trough your clips and hit enter to launch them.
Seems that somehow this keyboard behaviour (arrowkeys up/down and left/right) is disabled (7.22). How can I enable it?
