Using multiple audio clips with FFT

Post by Martians »

Is there some way to use multiple audio clips in the same composition and have them each affect a different layer with FFT?

You can set a layer parameter to react to it's own audio via FFT, ie an audio clip playing in the given layer.

Getting another layer's audio to control a layer FFT is not possible.

Thanks Zoltán,

But when I click a video clip in that same layer, the audio obviously stops playing. Any workaround for that?

Using groups instead of layers with Group FFT could be an alternative.
You'd play the audio in a group layer then video clips in another group layer in the same group.

Or merging the Audio files with the video clips, if they are similar length.

Or merging Audio files with Video router/Effect clips and animating the clip's own effects to Clip FFT.

Cheers - that's very helpful.. I'll try out the group approach.
