Midi Mappings when copying Composition?

Post by digitalohm »

Hi,

I recently upgraded to a MacBook and I'm in the process of copying my settings from a Windows machine. I copied over the composition file and all the layers/fx are in place, but my midi mappings are gone? Is there a separate file where these are saved?

Thanks in advance

When migrating from a different machine, the easiest method is to copy the whole Resolume Arena/Avenue folder from Documents.

You can find the individual MIDI shortcut presets in Documents/Resolume Arena 6/Shortcuts/Midi.
Close Resolume, copy the preset to the new machine and start Resolume, open your composition and your preset should get loaded automatically. If it's not you can select it from the shortcut preset list.

Please note that currently presets with the same preset name get listed only once, we're working on this.
What this means basically, if you named a preset on machine 1 "my great preset" and on machine 2 you already have a preset with this same name , and copy the preset from machine 1 to machine 2, only one of the presets are listed, even if you rename the files.
