font solution!

Post by explorer »

hey all ya hi-res users, who dont like the
default resolume font.

here's how to fix your problem:

1.
just uninstall both resolume fonts from your system (Feisar and Feisat-Bold)
after this resolume will use arial (size 12 - a little to big)

2.
use my own fonts tailored specially for resolume. i've tested them with resolume 2.2,
but i guess it will work with older versions as well

if you choose to use my fonts, here's how to instal them:

1.
in the attached files there are 2 zip files. each internal zip contains one version of Feisar.ttf. so you get two versions of the same font.
Feisar-Bold.ttf is not included, and i guess it won't be :)

2.
so unpack one of the files to the local directory (not into the windowsfonts directory)

3.
uninstall both resolume fonts from your system (Feisar and Feisat-Bold)

4.
from the file menu in your windowsfonts folder choose "install new font" option, and choose the file, you've just extracted to your local directory

basicly, its just a procedure of uninstalling one font, and instaling another

the fonts are veeeery similar. some of you won't see the difference probobly. they are a bit missplaced, but i'm still working on it.

feel free to post any coments.

btw... Resolume Developers - GREAT WORK! KEEP IT UP!

Much simpler is to erase the Feisar and Feisat-Bold fonts from resolume/fonts and windows/fonts which is all that's needed.
