Me again. I know.
When I read and watch about slice transforms - and content with different resolutions, it *seems* that the auto scaling should take, say a 1080x1080 and auto-scale the content to be full of whatever the slice transform is on (1920x1080).
It doesn't seem to be doing that for me. The solutions I have come up with, are using auto scale on each individual clip, or to zoom in the scale where I'd get the edges of the non-scaled content to be where I'd want them, but lose some of extra footage.
So, if I have a 1920x1080 clip on a 1080x1080 layer with slice transform - it makes it "look like a widescreen dvd" with the bars on top sides, instead of resizing.
Again - Most of my issues are user error. I am humble enough to realize that - but am I missing something? Are the auto scales not what I think? Do I just have to do it on clip transform for each clip? Should I just give up and deliver pizzas?

Thanks!
