Resolume 6 failed to initialize.Open GL Issue

ive used resolume 6 quite happily for some time on my Dell Alienware, but recently a windows 10 update has completely screwed my laptop so ive gone back to Windows 7 as ive spent a week dealing with windows 10 shit.
so now when i start up Resolume 6.0.7 i get "Application failed to intiliaize. Make sure your system meets the system requirements eg Open GL version 3.2
i have an intel Hd graphics card and a Nvidia geoforce GT555m
i did a test and my open GL is 3.0 why is this happening now when it ran perfectly well before on windows 10?
anyone know of a solution to this?

Have you assigned Resolume to your dedicated card in the Nvidia control panel?
