midi preferences, "camera on", Resolume freeze, Palette midi controller

Got a weird bug... when I go to midi preferences and try turn midi input on for a connected and recognized Palette midi controller, Resolume seems to turn on the built-in web camera then freezes. A windows dialog box appears saying "camera on" then Resolume goes white. Has anyone else seen something like this?
