Two copies of the same video don't start in time

I'm trying lay a processed version of my video over the clean version, but when I trigger the column the copy on layer 1 loads, then the one on layer 2. There is an obvious delay between the two and that is not the effect I want.

Which Resolume version are you using?
Are these files DXV?

Resolume Avenue 6.0.8, just a couple MP4's I took off YouTube.

Always better recompress to DXV.......and it should work.

Using the video router would work too, no? I just found that tool, but it seems like it's what I wanted for that project.

If I could use this really expensive software I'm paying Adobe for, I'd be more inclined to convert to DXV. I'm just finding Streamclip now, but that hasn't been updated for 6 years.

I'm pretty sure the Resolume team has things in the pipeline to make it possible to convert your files to DXV3 without the Quicktime container but in the meantime, you can still use Adobe Media Encoder 2017 to convert your clips to DXV using Quicktime.
