Merge Alpha Channel into file

Post by glenben »

Hey
i got a bunch of greenscreen footage i want to run in resolume
basicly i'm asking if i can somehow export: maybe h264 in premiere, use mpeg streamclip to convert it into dxv, then export only my keyed alpha channel in premiere and somehow merge it to the video file so i can use it in resolume?
Anybody know any solutions?
Just cause QT Animation codec is to slow now
thx thx thx

How about chroma keying your footage directly in Resolume?
There is an effect for this.

What would you like to accomplish exactly?
Software developer, Sound Engineer,
Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch

If you’d like to export to DXV directly from AE with an alpha channel, drop us a line via mail@resolume.com to get the exporter betas. We’re ironing out some kinks with metadata, but they should be production ready.

Hey
@beta: would be great to try them!
@keying in resolume:

i got many tiny and sometimes bad greenscreen loops and would like to minimize the performance needed for playback - sometimes 20-30 - i think dxv without effects would be the best solution
thx for your answers
