So i'm working on a show that has baked in a click track on the left of a video and the audio on the right. Outputting out of my Sager laptop (even have tried an external interface) the right side is isolating, but the left side still seems to be sending mono. When i test the left and right through system preferences I get isolated L and R channels.
Leads me to believe its either a windows 10 or a resolume problem.

Stereo Output.. Not really Stereo?
Re: Stereo Output.. Not really Stereo?
Could also be the file's audio track, or a surround setting in the audio driver, but as you tried with a different interface with the same result, I would vote on the file's track.kcik wrote: Thu Jun 14, 2018 16:41 Leads me to believe its either a windows 10 or a resolume problem.
6.0.8 on my mac and windows doesn't mix the channels.
Try the file with a different player. A sound editor would even show you the waveforms and you would be able to play back the channels separately.
You don't mention what's plugged in to your machine, if you go into a mixer with mono channels, it could even be a faulty pan dial pot, or mixer channel/cable crosstalk.
