speed up the workflow for taking snapshots and recording loops

Post by danklim »

Hi, I'm trying to speed up the workflow for taking snapshots and recording loops in resolume avenue, could you please help?

When i take a snapshot or record a loop in resolume, it always places the snapshot/loop in the bottom layer of my composition. This means that, after taking the snapshot or recording the loop, i need to scroll down to the bottom layer and use my mouse to drag it back up to a top layer to be able to see it. This takes some time and I would like the ability to speed up the process.

After I take a snapshot or record a loop, is there any way to move the clip (or the bottom layer) automatically (or with a quick button press) to the top layer? Or is there any way to change the default so that loops/snapshots are saved to the top layer instead of the bottom layer?

Thanks!

Changing the destination layer for the Recordings/Snapshots is currently not possible.

You could put a layer router in the top layer that references the bottom layer, then at least you don’t have to drag and drop.
