ok guys here goes new setup
windows pro 10 arena 6
1950x, 32g ram 1080ti gigabyte 399 extreme mb blackmagic 8k card in pcie 8x slot. 1x control monitor dvi out.
what we would like ... 2x sdi in 1080i ... what are the settings I see no way to set what clip goes to what input ?? I've tried to find this answer on here it seems to be possible but what are we missing??
also would like 2x sdi out 1 @ 4k 30 and 1 @ 1080i ... how do I set up 2 different outs
also it's my understanding that the card can do 4x in or 3x1 etc how do I set what gets what of course blackmagic manual is basically useless when it come to this and resolume doesn't say anything specific anyone know if this is possible and what settings we need to check or change
capture card what's wrong ??
Re: capture card what's wrong ??
The decklink 8k pro is a single channel card.
You won't get 2x sdi out from one card. You should be able to set up the card's connections in the desktop video setup, but in not even sure it can do duplex according to what their website says.

Re: capture card what's wrong ??
Take a look at this thread on the Blackmagic forum. It sounds like the card is quad-link and can do 4 different inputs as long as they are genlocked (and possibly the same resolution).
Re: capture card what's wrong ??
got it well ... I didn't see this thread before now and when blackmagic wording says can capture and playback at the same time and all inputs can be inputs or outputs it's very misleading.
can the 12g extreme card do what I'm looking for ???... need 4k was hoping to have 60 fps as an option but looks like the 12g extreme can only do 4k 30.
any other suggestions???

4K is 4096x2160 and UHD (or 2160) is 3840x2160 so do you need 4K or UHD?
The DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G supports 2160/60 but only 4K/25 and I believe all the 4K cards are full duplex so you can do both In and Out simultaneously.
