Paste Effects issue

Post by DHoude »

So if I copy a clip and paste it's effects to another clip it also copies the "Transform". Which that in itself is probably not a big issue. But that seems like something is not right.

I agree that it probably should paste the Transform effect properties too but without a way to remove multiple Transforms from a clip is it really a good idea to have multiple instances build up under a clip? I ended up with three of those on one clip just playing around with 6 and it just seems like something is not right with that way of thought.

I am sure if you are not making mistakes, then you should probably only have 2 Transforms at first. But with no way to Ctrl Z undo the move, I basically had to reload the composition to remove the extra instances. Probably the best thing to do is make multiple Transforms sense that, and then allow a way to remove some. Especially as time goes on and our shows evolve. The possibility of many transforms for 1 clip could eventually become a problem.
