reveal effect stopped working

I have tried starting new projects but still the reveal effect is just staying in a static state and I have lost the random bounce of where it was earlier. Any ideas of how to fix this bug?

Have you tried animating the Reveal Phase?

If you experience crashes, it's best if you submit the bug report with the reporter dialog.
Make sure you fill out your email address so we can reply, and know it's from you.

So, regarding the reveal effect.
Do you see this opening an old composition, where the animations of your effect are not animating any more, or is this happening with a new composition and a newly dropped effect?
