Distorted Audio Appearing at End of Clip

Post by jrodjared »

Hey Everyone

I have a DXV 3 clip (video and audio together) that keeps adding a bunch of digital garbage to the end. I left like 3 seconds of pad silence on the end so I can get to the next cue, but once it hits the silence the noise comes crashing in. It's also considerable louder than the recorded audio, maybe by 10db or more.

The noise doesn't show up in the waveform, and when I bring the clip into Premiere it plays just fine. I've tried exporting at different bit rates to see if that had something to do with it, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Here is a link to the clip if someone wants to try it out and see if they can replicate it?

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Update, it seems to do this on all the clips with sound I export.

OK figured out my own problem. FWIW the clip frame rate didn't match my canvas. Re-exported at the same frame rate and the problem seems to have been solved for now. Hope this helps someone down the line.
