Resolume CPU Recommendations

Hello. I am in the process of building a computer to run Resolume Arena6 but need some help on picking the right CPU. The system will be running and Intel Xeon CPU with ECC RAM.

Basically I'm trying to figure out if Resolume benefits from more cores-lower clock or less cores-higher clock.

So far I have been looking something like the Xeon E5-2623.

Higher clock speed will be your friend.
GPU does most of the work anyways.
Getting a quality SSD is recomended as well, m.2 for example.
Read into your MOBO, get something that supports plenty of PCIe lanes (as well as your processor)
