is this a good rig IMAC pro 5k with some upgrades (NOOB)

Hi

First post, been lurking for a while. I have some background in video, I use after effects and fcp ect. I plan to get a Imac within the next few days specifically for VJing. Im excited to try my hand at it.

I just wanted to ask here before I pull the trigger officially on this Imac

heres the stats:

late 14th introduced
5k retina 27 inch
512 gb ssd
24 gig memory
amd Radeon r9 m290x 2048 mb

What do you think?

I just want to do normal vjing sets w/ projection mapping once I figure out how to do it.

Well, better Gpu is a good idea here... at least 4gb...
