FPS Display ?

Post by Anonymous »

hi, i drop just a word about something that (i think) is very usefull bt not yet implemented.

a FPS RATE DISPLAY !
maybe near the clock should be perfect.

there is often video samples that make the pc mutch slower (bad codec or resolution) and to spot them, nothing like a frame per second counter.

think about it :)

although a fps near the time sounds neat :) Das Ben, do you want to treat your audience with techno babble :) I could think of an electro setting, but that's about it. In 2.x+ is only shows on output screens. Presuming you are dealing with a live setup.

The fps that displays when pressing ctrl+alt+i will display on your 2nd screen (full screen ie projector) if your monitor is set up to extend onto 2nd desktop and you use 2nd desktop scaled to full screen, and on your preview monitor within resolume interface if you have 2nd screen as a clone of 1st screen and use the dvd max function to have full screen on your 2nd monitor. You may want to think about this if you want to check your fps live during a gig without everyone seeing the red lettering that will no doubt confuse everyone...

It's a toss up - generally I like to extend my monitor to 2nd screen so in the rare case that resolume crashes, people don't see my desktop just a blank colored screen - but sometimes it is nice to know your frame rate...
