Hi all !!!
Have spent a day with Res 6 and I am in LOVE !!!
I'm working on an HP ZBOOK 17 P4000 graphics card - all the samples which came with the software run without any issues - no stutter or lag.
My installation is using film clips and it's there I started to run into some lag - especially when I start to add an effect or two.
I will be projecting using the projector mapping output option - layering slices - combining live video feed and a dj score.
Is the lag I'm experiencing due to the film clip lengths or possibly the hard drive? Should I be running this off of an SSD? Is there a page describing optimum film type, length or type hard drive.
Regardless I'm sold on the platform. I'm also using Maschine MK3 - good controller?
thank you in advance for any information !!!
cheers

Make sure your clips are converted to .dxv Download alley to convert the clips if they aren't. Also an SSD drive will greatly improve performance.

thank you!
converting to DXV 3 made all the difference and threw the mov's on an SSD and that's keeping 7 slices playing (same deck) at just over 35fps!
