I work as an LJ in a club, and our VJ has got Resolume 6 running.
I'm looking at getting one of the TC Supply products to get a feed of the CDJ/DJM data to the control booth (we're FOH, DJs are on stage) and the BeatKontrol (cheap) product only outputs BPM data via TCnet or Ableton. So will that be enough for Resolume?
The next step up product (5x the price) will do SMPTE via LTC, MTC, Artnet Timecode and TCNet - is this going to be the better way forward?
I would rather use BeatKontrol as for me the zoom in of the CDJ waveforms is more important than full fat SMTPE - but spending any money and not getting any kind of BPM feed that Resolume can use seems a bit silly.
TIA

Re: BPM via TCnet
Resolume supports ableton link, that’s why tcsupply added it.
