I need help what PC rig need for 2x2 4k TV videowall mode and create one big screen

Also do i need matrox or datapath for 4 outputs?
Can resolume handle 8k the vj loops is 4k scaled to 8k .
Next question framerates?
Conmection via HDMI or DisplayPort ?

I remember helping a few buddies set up a similar setup but with a LED screen instead.
I remember setting up the server using a single Firepro W9100. It has 6 mini dp outs which we converted to displayport and we synced multiple displays with the s400 sync card, otherwise overtime some screens will tend to fall behind. We used an opengear sync generator as the house clock for not only the server, but also other broadcast equipments, but something like a kramer sg 6005 sync generator would work as well I suppose. We were running 4k 30fps for each video processors back then.
