Rookie needs help

Post by plymouth »

Hello all,

I have a client that has a large scale set-up they're looking to do in Resolume and I'm a bit new to the software and shows of this scale.

I am not sure what the best way to go about outputting content to these screens. In the advanced output I can fit all of them neatly in a 4k composition, but the way they are to be laid out onsite has them much wider. The client is looking for an easy way to play back content that will span across all these displays, and be able to switch to IMAG at will on the SL and SR LED walls.
I'm not even sure if the novastar processors or DVI in general can support the resolution I'm looking at here. Am I better off splitting this up into multiple compositions? Are you able to sync content across multiple compositions?

As I said, I'm looking for some guidance. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks :D

I've included some sketches to help illustrate what I'm talking about.

The point you need to take a look at is the INput and Output Mapping as well as Slice Transform.

There was a very helpfull livestream event with (i think it was) Joris and this helped a lot to get the workflow right and so one...

The LiveStream is VOD here:
