Working on a 1 hour show. Minimalist slow motion video artwork that could be 1 movie with no need of live effects or even mixing. (Too bad I’m crazy about these parts )
Can I freely use 2 to 3 Gb file size easily?
Is it possible to slow down some parts with no trouble (stop motion and other non sync frame by frame)?
Yes you can use files of 2 or 3 gb or even a lot more.
Video files should ideally be converted to DXV3 , which will make your files very large as they are decompressed , it's normal..
Yes it's possible to slow down or stop or speed up footage .
There can be trouble though..
If you have an animation rendered at 30fps , and you slow it down to 50% , it shows us 15 frames per second of animation , whats too slow for fluent movement so you will see your video stuttter.
Resolume can't "imagine" the frames inbetween (yet? :p)
But if you render your animations at 60fps ofcourse you can slow them down to 50% and they will still play smooth
