Hi Resolumers,
I'm working on a project in which i'm live streaming a hdmi capture but then trying to delay the footage by an exact number of seconds.
Currently I have just stacked up a load of RGB Delays that are maxed out. It seems like each RBG Delay creates roughly 2 seconds of delay.
Is there a way to find out exactly how long this delay is? Can it be standardised so I can introduce an exact amount of delay?
Or does anyone know a different way of delaying the video signal by a certain amount?
love x
Exact amount of delay or rbg delay?
Re: Exact amount of delay or rbg delay?
The RGB delay in Resolume is not a fixed time, the length also depends on your composition frame rate.
In OBS you can add a delay filter to incoming camera feeds, and
you can set the exact amount of delay to the feed (up to 20 seconds on my machine)
Then you could use NDI Scan Converter to grab the image from OBS into an NDI stream, which you can then open from the sources in Resolume.
