masking output without loosing functionallity

Post by STARRAMANGA »

I have a gig coming up where the promoter requires a mask of the night's logo framing the visuals. This must always be present. I need all three channels but don't mind loosing an effects slot. Can anyone suggest a way masking the output from within Resolume? or some alternative method(as long as it's cheap, I can't afford a mixer yet).
Thanks

Does anyone know of a freeframe effect that could do this?
Thanks

what sort of mask do you need? it looks like you might have to use the 3rd layer to put this mask on, though if you have a bit of money you could email some of the free frame plugin developers and get a custom writen plugin that does it for you.

Thanks, Levon. I don't have the file yet to post but it's basically a white shape and some text on a black background. The black would be masking/framing everything. I could use a layer but I think I'm going to have to get hold of some other kit as any effects I'd use would mess this up too. Might be able to get hold of a mixer or considering running another pc
thanks
