i have really enjoyed the easy use of resoulme....and its been my choice of vj app for a while now......but........
i have 2x 40gig wd 7200 hdd, raid'ed ata100...and its been working fine until now.
when i try to play back the same clips ive saved in a deck that work perfectly last week, they freez up and kick back n during playback every now'n'then.
im using cinpack 320x240 100% keyframe every frame....very samll file sizes (around 5meg)
my raid is benchmarked at 50megs a second for a 1meg file. it should be able to play back a heap of clips..........
at first i though there could be a virus problem, as i had bugbear on another computer, and my computer with resolume is connected to LAN.
but ive run norton, ad aware, and bugbear fix, done defragments, check disk....and nothing.
my time trial with resolume ran out last week, and i had to re install windows, to have another bash at it...as i dont want to buy it at this stage because of all these buggy problems.
also i find it very anioing that when you save a deck, if the directory the flies it use's has been modifyed it becomes use's less. this is inevitable with vjs, as we are always reorganising our clips/files.
CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE IT SO IT SAVE"S ALL THE CLIPS INTO THE DEK FILE?????
another thing is i cant play back mov, mpegs, or even mideos with resolume 1.1 beta2....even though it says you can. I can with early versions...but them when i reinstall 1.1 i cant - what the f**k is with that?
ive spent days and days batch converting gigs and gigs of files to stupid old cinpack just because of this!!!!!!!!!
if someone can help me out here and get around these problems...ill buy the program....otherwise im moving on to visual jocky

saving all the files used in a deck in one file is not an option .. what it i load 20 movies 100Mb each? you end up with a file that is 2000 MB! you will run out of diskspace very soon!
what do you mean by not being able to playback movs etc. with beta2? do you get an error message? or a white preview? we have not heard this problem before!
