Hello,
as Resolume 7.x / FFGL 2.0 requires OpenGL 4.1, I'm interested in what will be inaccessible on an Intel HD 4000 (only OpenGL 4.0) on Windows.
The new / updated FFGL 2.0 plugins will be entirely missing?
What other features are unavailable?
I have a fairly powerful Ivy Bridge laptop, which I would like to keep as long as possible.

The Intel HD 4000 doesn't meet the minimum specs: https://resolume.com/software/specs
You might be able to start Resolume, but using some functions, it might just crash in the drivers.

Not ideal, but not bad either
I'd like to keep the laptop as long, as I can buy a proper AMD Ryzen 4000 based machine to replace it.
I would only use the Ivy Bridge laptop to sketch ideas, if it crashes, then be it so...
I know it's probably too early to ask for Ryzen 4000 APU support and features, but if there's info, please elaborate on it.

Once they are released, we might see some user benchmark and also Resolume users, but till then we could only speculate.ddd_vvv wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2020 16:41 I know it's probably too early to ask for Ryzen 4000 APU support and features, but if there's info, please elaborate on it.
