computer specs vs Resolution

cant find there being a recent thread about this ... just wondering what resolution most people were running at and specs of the computer.

right now i normaly process at 480x 360 and output at 800x600 on a:

athlon XP 2400+
512 333mhz DDR ram
geforce TI 4200
Segate ATA 80gig
V-Stream capture card
Win XP SP1

my computer is starting to get slugish cause windows has been installed for about a year and a half now, soon im going to buy 2 SATA hard drives and have a raid set up, my idea situation would be able to process at a full PAL resolution.

I think, you should buy yourself more RAM. It's not sooo expensive and the effect is quite, at least it was for me on my backup machine.
